Work And Dota
Today, i went to work just as usual. Its the weekends, so its a bit crowded. Luckily i have the morning shift. The store is less crowded in the morning and it won't be that messy. Stocks arrived just as usual in the late morning and early afternoon, so after that i can go home. Time passed more easily in the morning as compared to the afternoon. So, i still prefer the morning shift.
Today, after work, i went out to lan with my Canoeist friends and we played a bit of lan. At first, i didn't want to play because i haven't touched Dota for more than 3 months. But since it will most probably be the last time i will get to see them before i get into the army liao. All of my friends who have completed their BMT and are present today went into SISPEC, the specialist training school. So, i guess its good for them. Maybe i will go there after i complete my BMT also. We played two games of Dota today and as i haven't touched Dota for months, I chose a support hero, Treant Protector to do the supporting role. I kinda sucked at it, only that i didn't die that many times because Treant has seriously a lot of life and i helped quite a bit playing a support role. For the second game, i played my favourite Lycantrope and i couldn't believe it that i got Beyond Godlike streak and Double kill and Triple Kill once, with a score of unbelievable 10 kills 0 death. Nobody outruns Lycantrope, not even the nightstalker at night. LOL. I don't know how achieved that, having not touched Dota for so long and have never achieved that streak before but i think that the main reason was that they did not target me for the start of the game as they were busy targeting Michael and Benjamin, who are the better players. Of course, Michael still managed to get a very good score of 14 kills 4 deaths with Broodmother. Luckily i had Michael on my team as i can team up and work quite well with Michael. Still, even after doing quite well for the game today, i think i can still consider myself a noob as it was just a lucky game and i will most probably not achieve that again.
Still, no more Dota for me. At least for some time, as army will be coming up soon. Countdown to enlistment is in about 2 weeks time. 16 days to be exact. Life goes on after today. Will be working tml again. Looking forward to my off day and my next driving lesson on Monday...
